The Salina Chorale is a community of voices dedicated to the promotion of choral music, open to all, high school age & older.
This organized group of talented singers from the greater Salina community is under the direction of William Tuzicka. The Chorale is an outgrowth of the Salina Community Chorus, which was begun in 1961 under the direction of Mr. John Sample. The group was reorganized as the Salina Chorale in January 1979.
Chorale performances are the choir's holiday and spring concerts, with music and themes selected by the Director, plus guest appearances with the Salina Symphony -- including every year in the chorus for the symphony's two Holiday Festival concert performances in the Stiefel Theatre in mid-December.
The Salina Chorale is proud to be one of the Salina area's longtime nonprofit organizations. Your support enables us to continue our concert and community outreach. Please consider becoming a supporter. In exchange, individuals and businesses receive ads in our concert programs... and our gratitude.
We appreciate your presence in the audience at our Salina Chorale performances, because you are why we rehearse for many weeks during the spring and fall semesters. We sing our concerts for your pleasure. Thank you for coming. You make it all worthwhile.
A community chorus based in Salina, Kansas, United States
